Choosing Your Simulation's URL

Choosing Your Simulation's URL

You can find the URL for your published budget by going to the simulations tab and then choosing edit. Your URL will appear underneath the name you have chosen for your simulation.

Your simulation's URL is composed of two parts: the base and the slug. In the picture below, the base is highlighted in yellow and the slug in green.

The base is permanent and stays the same for the entire account. The slug is assigned automatically based on the title you give a particular simulation, but can be easily changed by clicking and editing.

If you plan on having more than one active simulation in your account at any given time, you should share with users the entire URL (base + slug.) However, if you will only plan on having one active simulation at a time, you may wish to only share the base, which will always default to the most recently activated budget.
