Progress Bar Options

How It Works

There are two options related to the requirements for a user to submit on Prioritize. You can allow users to submit once they 1) be at or under the available amount or 2) meet or exceed the goal.

These different options are reflected in how the progress bar looks and performs at the top of the page.

Progress Bar Settings

Click on the "Prioritize" button on the left and then click on either "Create Prioritization" or "Edit", depending on if you are starting from scratch or editing an existing one.

From the "Settings" tab, you'll begin by scrolling down the page to the 'Advanced' section.

After you set the Prioritization Mode to either budget or housing, you can then decide on how the progress bar should function and the requirement for submission by the user.

1) Be at or under the available amount

Ex. You have a set amount of funds for a project and a user should not be able to go over that amount

2) Meet or exceed the goal

Ex. You have an affordable housing target number that users need to meet, but also have the option to go above the target number or goal

Still operating from the "Advanced" section within the "Settings" tab, you can decide on the following:
  1. Show confetti when the goal is reached
  2. The number represents something other than money
this is how you change the units of your Prioritization (housing, no units, carbon, etc.)
